Producers invite consumers to ‘Be Our Guest’

Dairy producers will again be inviting Sioux Falls area consumers to “Be Our Guest” at the concert following the Welcome Reception.

For a $10 donation to Feeding South Dakota, consumers can receive a ticket to the Sawyer Brown concert.

Feeding South Dakota will use donations to purchase dairy foods to stock food banks across South Dakota. the non-profit organization, feeds 3,800 people in the South Dakota each day and helps feed more than 38,000 families each month. The organization's Backpack Program gives food every weekend to nearly 4,400 school children kids who otherwise might go hungry

The Midwest Dairy Association is conducting the Be Our Guest promotion. It kicked off drive with a special event at the Sioux Empire Mall in February. Dairy farm families and representatives from Feeding South Dakota were on hand to accept donations and distribute tickets to the concert.

In the weeks leading up to the event First Bank & Trust in Sioux Falls and Canton, Lewis Drug in Sioux Falls, Brookings and Madison, and HyVee in Sioux Falls will accepting donations and distributing tickets. You’ll also be hearing about the program on the radio.

Concert tickets are limited and are only available through a donation to Feeding South Dakota.
