Central Plains Dairy Annual Golf Outing

$2,500 in prizes awarded at Dairy Golf Classic

More than $2,500 in prizes were awarded at the 2012 Central Plains Golf Classic.

The team of Gary and Jeremy Hitt and Daryl and Justin Larson won first place in the scramble golf tournament with a score of 13 under par. It’s the second year they have won the tournament.

Matt Van Essen, Michael TonClay, Michelle Wilson and Kari Schuiteman were drawn as the winners in first place winners in the second flight.

A large number of door prizes --  including golf, hunting and fishing equipment, and apparel -- were given as pin prizes and door prizes.

About 110 golfers participated in the event.

Special thanks to Big Gain, the beverage-shack sponsor. It was nearly 103 degrees F on the golf course and the golfers consumed a record amount of water, sports drinks and ice.
