Dr. Tikofsky, DVM, received her DVM from the University Of Illinois College Of Veterinary Medicine. After completing an internship at the University of Missouri, she was in practice in upstate New York. She then joined Quality Milk Production Services at the Animal Health Diagnostic Center, Cornell University. In her role there as a Senior Extension Veterinarian, she consulted with dairy producers and veterinarians on issues surrounding udder health and milk quality in cattle and small ruminants. Her responsibilities also extended into research on antimicrobial resistance in mastitis pathogens and educating future dairy veterinarians. She currently lives in Trumansburg, New York with her family and enjoys mastering the perfect ice cream recipe.
