Dr. Michael Bolton is a 1978 graduate of Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He spent eight years in dairy practice in Wisconsin and another 20 years as a dairy veterinarian in Michigan. Dr. Bolton joined Merck in 2006 and helped start the Dairycare effort shortly thereafter. He works in the area of animal care, sales support and vaccine research at Merck Animal health. Mike and his wife Ruthy have three grown children and five grandchildren and live on a centennial farm near Traverse City, Mich.
