Tour
We are going to tour dairies in western and central Minnesota July 8-9.
The 7,500-cow Riverview Dairy, Morris, Minn., is one of the main stops. We'll
also be going to a dairy with robotic milkers, a dairy with a new tunnel
ventilation barn (it's as comfortable as a cross ventilation barn, but costs less,
says the producer), a dairy that built a pit barn for dry cows and
...well, we

Dairy Directory. A printed copy is distributed free to dairy producers in western Minnesota, South Dakota,
northwest Iowa, northeast Nebraska and North Dakota. On-line listings and

Golf tournament
Our 2009 golf tournament will be held Aug. 5,
at the Rocky Run Golf course in Dell Rapids. Click on the "Golf Outing" tab
above for pictures of all a list of the winners from this years event.
Expo
The next Central Plains Dairy Expo is March 31 and April
1 at the Sioux Falls, S.D., Convention
Center and Sheraton Hotel. This two-day trade show features more than 200 all-dairy
exhibitors and includes entertainment and seminars. The Welcome Reception will
be March 30.
