Who We Are

The Central Plains Dairy Association (CPDA) is a non-profit 501(c)(6) organization dedicated to advancing the dairy industry across the Central Plains. Guided by a volunteer Board of Directors, the Association works to strengthen and support dairy producers, service providers, and stakeholders throughout the region.

Our Mission:

We provide advancement opportunities and maximize the potential of all stakeholders by delivering reliable, relevant information through innovative platforms for our trusted Central Plains dairy community.

Our Vision:

We strive to facilitate and support the future growth, relevancy, and vitality of the dairy industry in the Central Plains.

Governance

The Association and its foundation are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors that meets quarterly to provide leadership, direction, and oversight in pursuit of our mission.

I grew up around the dairy industry and have worked in sales for almost 25 years. I have had many opportunities to experience the different aspects of the industry, not only professionally, but also personally. Serving on the Central Plains Dairy Association board allows me to stay involved in the dairy industry, learn new and innovative ideas, provide opportunities for dairy producers to come together in fellowship, engage with vendors, collaborate with one another and just have a great time. I am grateful to be serving on the board as a voice for the industry.

I began attending Central Plains Dairy Expo even before we produced our first pellet of NovaMeal, and I have participated every year since.  It is such a great event to visit with our customers, their families, and new prospects too.
It has eclipsed other events to become the premier dairy event in the Midwest, and it is right here in South Dakota.  It is a privilege to serve on the Central Plains Dairy Expo Board, and to bring whatever I can offer to the dairy industry.
