When and where is the 2027 Expo?

Who should attend?

CPDE is designed for dairy producers, owners, herd managers, employees and other members of the dairy community. Allied industry professionals are also welcome to attend.

At the Expo

What can I expect at CPDE?

Attendees can explore a dairy-focused trade show, attend educational sessions, connect with other dairy professionals and take part in special events throughout the Expo. CPDE programming includes breakout sessions, Spanish-language education and shorter Ed Shed presentations on the Expo floor.

Are the educational sessions included with my name badge?

Yes. CPDE educational sessions are included with your Expo access. A detailed 2027 speaker and session schedule will be posted online as it is finalized.

Is the Welcome Reception included?

Expo registration provides access to CPDE activities based on your attendee type. Watch the official schedule and registration information for 2027 Welcome Reception details, timing and any special instructions.

What about the Prayer Breakfast and other special events?

CPDE traditionally includes a Wednesday morning Prayer Breakfast. Doors open at 6:30 AM for the country style free breakfast. The program begins at 7:00 AM. Inspirational speakers are chosen by the Ag Prayer Breakfast Committee made up of members from WIDA, Western Iowa Dairy Alliance and CPDE. Donations are collected during the event which go directly to The Banquet in Sioux Falls, S.D. to purchase dairy products for meal services.

Will food be available?

CPDE is known for dairy-focused food and hospitality during the event. Specific food service times, complimentary offerings and locations vary by year. Typically, the Dairy Bar serves grilled cheese sandwiches, ice cream novelty items and hard ice cream. The wine and cheese social provides an immense charcuterie and the Welcome Reception hosts heavy appetizers for hundreds of people.

Can I meet directly with exhibitors?

Absolutely. The trade show is designed to give producers and dairy professionals direct access to companies offering equipment, technology, products and services for dairy operations. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions, compare options and learn what is new.

Can allied industry attendees solicit business if they do not have a booth?

Suitcasing at CPDE is strictly prohibited. Attending the Expo does not authorize a company to exhibit, distribute materials, solicit attendees or conduct sales activity from aisles or another company’s booth. Companies wishing to market products or services at the Expo should contact CPDE regarding authorized exhibiting or sponsorship opportunities.

Is the schedule available online?

Yes. The most current schedule, speakers, special events and Expo updates are posted at CentralPlainsDairy.com. Because details may change, use the website and official onsite communications as your final reference.
